形态描述
前鼻孔短管状，与后鼻孔紧邻。眼下刺分叉。后伸达眼球中部。头侧鳞片成间断分布，射体被鳞。无侧线。雄性个体偶鳍较长，胸鳍前数根鳍条变宽变硬。
生物学
This small loach is found in Xishuanbanna, Yunnan Province, and inhabits the mountain streams of the Lancangjiang River. They appear to prefer sandy or gravelly bottom. It is also found in Java, Sumatra, the area of Burma which adjacent to Thailand.
